Apparently in the Bronx when it rains it pours. Just as the last place Yankees had a ray of hope shining through the dark storm clouds of the 2007 (sticking with weather analogies) those clouds quickly gathered once again. Phillip Hughes, one of the top pitching prospects in baseball, was no hitting the Rangers over 6 1/3 innings in just his second major league start when he felt a twinge in his hammy after releasing a pitch. It now looks like Hughes will miss at least a month with a hamstring injury. Upon seeing the injury, David Cone roused his son of bed, turned on the flood lights in the back yard, and proceeded to whistle balls at him for the next hour.
