Thoughts on the LSU - Virginia Tech Game

After week two of the college football season LSU certainly looks like the team to beat, but their win against Va. Tech isn't nearly as impressive as it seemed at first glance. First, the Hokies are just getting used to the run-and-shoot offense they installed in the offseason and second, the playbook is very limited since eliminating the shotgun formation.

Too soon?

Brutally awesome.

That LSU QB kept throwing bullets.

The LSU QB certainly had a gun. Maybe that's why Va Tech defenders looked like they were ducking for cover.

We were discussing what would have happened in the ECU game, if they used the celebration dance where the TD scorer pretends the football is a gun and mows down his entire team as they fall to the ground in a mock massacre. Would the home fans have rioted?
