If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound? On a related note, the NHL playoffs started yesterday.
(Note: The title is an homage to our friend Sticky. One day we were making sports related euphemisms such as "_____ is as easy as an empty net goal" or "______ is as easy as hitting a ball off a tee." Well our friend Sticky, desperately trying to get in the game, blurts out "______ is as easy as a blue line pass." Insert the sound of crickets, or a car crash, or any other sound that you associate with a horrible joke. A blue line pass isn't even common hockey phrase. Is it pass from the blue line, to the blue line, or past the blue line? Is a blue line pass easy? I've seen many "blue line passes" broken up. Needless to say the entire room was dumbfounded by the statement and he has been ridiculed for it to this day... and now in blog form.)

You're better than that. Making fun of stickey is as easy as an 8 yard button-hook.
